Richard’s extensive experience covers a wide range of environmental management activities, including project planning, securing approvals, overseeing management processes, and conducting thorough audits. His ability to navigate these processes has made him a trusted advisor and leader in his field.
He has also been actively involved in stakeholder liaison, working closely with key entities such as the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), the Biodiversity Conservation Division (BCD), the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE), indigenous communities, and other environmental protection agencies. Richard’s collaborative approach has fostered strong relationships, ensuring that all parties are aligned in their commitment to environmental protection.
Additional experience
Appointed by DPIE as an independent auditor and environmental representative, Richard has contributed his expertise to State Significant Development (SSD) and State Significant Infrastructure (SSI) projects.
Richard’s experience spans the entire project life cycle, from Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) to Reviews of Environmental Factors (REF), through to construction and Operational phases. His comprehensive understanding of these processes ensures that environmental considerations are integrated at every stage, contributing to the long-term success and sustainability of the projects he manages.
