Career highlights include delivering integration and assurance for Melbourne’s Metro Tunnel, coordinating assurance, risk arguments, approvals and leading interface controls between rolling stock and infrastructure. Notably, Kevin coordinated and managed the platform screen door entrapment SFAIRP case, securing a multidisciplinary stakeholder agreement for the complex safety risk.

In the UK, Kevin managed the systems engineering process for the train management and connected systems of the West Coast Main Line Pendolino fleet. He pioneered condition monitoring and maintenance process transformations, earning the Modern Railways award for Innovation in Performance and Operations – enabling passenger numbers to double in seven years with 90% public satisfaction.
