Job description

Are you looking to help Australia usher in a new era of high speed rail? We are expanding our team of engineers to contribute to our growing portfolio of transport projects. We’re currently seeking a talented Rolling Stock Engineer with a specialisation in High Speed Rail to join our dynamic and collaborative team in an advisory role.

As a senior engineer with international experience in high speed rail, you will play a pivotal role in the strategy, design, development and testing of engineering solutions for high speed rail projects. You will work closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that rolling stock meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new area of rail in Australia on cutting-edge projects that will shape the future of rail travel.

We are open to various working arrangements – from someone looking to move to Australia or consult remotely in a part-time capacity. We want someone eager to bring their ideas to the table and help us build something meaningful. Help us continue to deliver the confidence that drives progress in the rail industry.

With a role at Rail Confidence, we ensure there are great benefits and opportunities available to you:

  • Career and role progression. We promote internally first and will continually collaborate to support your growth.
  • Team lunches and social events. If you are based in Sydney, you will enjoy a central Surry Hills office space with regular team activities.
  • Provision of a phone and laptop.
